The Chamber joined the official government-business delegation to Morocco, organized by SPIRIT Slovenia in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. The program took place in Casablanca and was aimed at establishing direct business contacts and strengthening institutional and economic cooperation.
The delegation held talks between Slovenian and Moroccan institutions, organized B2B meetings and presented business opportunities on the Moroccan market. The Chamber actively participated as a business-institutional bridge and supported the connection of Slovenian companies with local partners in North Africa.
SPIRIT Slovenia and ESGZ are holding working meetings to establish a structured model of long-term cooperation. Discussions are focused on supporting the internationalization of companies and creating a framework for coordinating joint programs and activities.
ESGZ, as a business-institutional bridge, has been involved in activities related to the preparation of concrete business arrangements in the field of high technology in Tunisia. In cooperation with European, Mediterranean and national actors, the chamber supports the development of advanced technological solutions and the connection of companies with institutional partners.
In this way, ESGZ strengthens its role in the development of high-tech projects and in supporting companies operating in the blue economy.
Companies will start entering their data, products and services. The editorial team will activate the validation process and the catalog will go into operational use.
The ESGZ will be presented at the EMUNI promotional event in Brussels. The role of Slovenia in the Southern Mediterranean and the importance of the new platform will be highlighted.
The development phase, which includes the basic architecture, user interface, and data module, will be completed. The system will be ready for initial testing.

ESGZ has become an institutional partner in the transnational project of satellite monitoring of fishing vessels. The project connects European, Mediterranean and national institutions in the development of advanced surveillance, environmental and security systems. The Chamber is thus included in high-tech programs of the blue economy.
The Chamber joined the official government delegation to Algeria. Discussions took place between Slovenian and Algerian institutions, including SPIRIT, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Slovenian Embassy in Algiers and the Algerian CREA – Algerian Economic Renewal Council. They organized B2B meetings and a tour of seven Algerian companies. The Chamber was specially presented to the Slovenian Ambassador to Algeria and the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Board of Directors adopted the priority goals for the first year. Special emphasis was placed on expanding membership. Intensive networking with companies and institutions began.
The Chamber gained legal status and the ability to operate. The way was opened for formal procedures and contracts. Institutional operations could officially begin.
The Board of Directors approved the organizational structure and division of responsibilities. Key functions and operational processes were defined. The Chamber thus became functionally operational.
At the founding assembly, the chamber received a formal mandate. The basic acts and governing bodies were adopted. The project moved from the conceptual to the institutional phase.
The vision of the new chamber was presented to the wider business community. The emphasis was on exports and connections with the markets of the southern Mediterranean. The event confirmed the broad interest of companies.
The initiative to establish a Euro-Mediterranean Chamber of Commerce was launched. The participants defined the framework goals and steps. The basic concept of the project was established.
