We are building a business bridge between Slovenia and the Southern Mediterranean. We connect companies in partnerships, projects and markets. Our focus: results, innovation and international economic action.

EMCC introduces a new approach to international economic networking - fast, results-oriented and with a clear focus on business action. We connect companies, institutions and innovation centers into strong partnerships that enable joint presence in the markets of the Southern Mediterranean, project development and access to European and domestic financial resources.

Through our work, we direct Slovenian initiatives towards key priorities of the European Union:  green economy, digital transformation, blue economy, innovation, and private sector development .

Our goal is simple: to create opportunities, open markets, and connect Slovenia with the Mediterranean economic space in a way that brings concrete results.

DEVELOPMENT – OUR ADVANTAGE

Our development and innovation centers in Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Palestine are part of the EMUNI EKIC network – European Knowledge and Innovation Centers, managed by EMUNI University, a strategic partner of EMCC.

These are fully organized centers, with a strong local team and in-depth knowledge, which combine knowledge of business culture, state and business protocols , and understanding of the actual functioning of the market on the one hand, and European business culture and direct involvement in the Slovenian economic environment on the other.

This gives the EKICs a unique role as a bridge between two worlds – the Southern Mediterranean and the European Economic Area.

Each EKIC acts as an operational-development base , enabling immediate implementation of activities, from initial preparations and market analyses to concrete B2B connections, delegations, pilot projects and technical solutions. This ensures the speed, coordination and reliability that companies need when entering demanding foreign markets.

The EKIC network in five countries represents one of the strongest strategic advantages of ESGZ , as it provides members with a real presence on the ground, support in the local language, understanding of protocols and cultures, and at the same time a secure anchoring in European and Slovenian business practice.

We are building a digital business platform that enables companies to seamlessly connect with B2B and collaborate between the economy and academia ( B2Academia ). The core of the platform is our catalog of products and companies , which opens the door for companies to new markets, partners, and concrete business opportunities.

We organize influential B2B forums where we create not just dialogue - but actual deals , new projects and international partnerships.

We provide SMEs with access to financing, analytics, and strategic consulting so they can confidently enter challenging foreign markets.

Through our partnership with EMUNI and the EKIC network , we combine academic knowledge, local market data, and business needs, thus creating an effective bridge between Slovenia, the EU, and the Southern Mediterranean.
